Dorothy Fielding Obituary

Dorothy "Dot" L. Fielding, 82 of Midland, TX entered into eternal peace on Monday, April 24th, 2017. Dot was born on November 30th, 1934 in Lowe, Kansas to the late Beryl and Gladys Graham. She married the love of her life, Bob Fielding, on March 14, 1963 and together they enjoyed bowling and attending many Lee Rebel athletic events. Together, they received the Lee High School Grand Marshall Award twice, the Football Rebel for Life Award, the Baseball Rebel for Life Award, The Basketball Rebel for Life Award, and the Softball Rebel for Life Award. Dot also enjoyed scrapbooking and taking photos in her spare time. Dot was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and she never met a stranger. She is predeceased by her parents, Beryl and Gladys Graham; brothers, Gary Graham, and Robert Graham; and sisters, Reta Cooley, and Helen Jean Proctor. She leaves her many loving memories to be cherished by her loving Husband of 54 years, Bob Fielding; adorning daughter, Stacy Fielding; sister, Janice Yoho; many nieces and nephews; and many Fami"Lee" members gained over the many years of Rebel Sports. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 26th at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home, 2508 N Big Spring St., Midland, TX 79705, with the family receiving visitors from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Services will be held Thursday, April 27th at 10:00 am at Calvary Assembly of God Church, 908 Johnston St. Midland, TX 79701 where we will gather with friends and family to celebrate the example of life that she set for everyone around her. The Family has chosen Craig Holly, Terry Gwin, Ray Fieldhouse, Domingo Nunez, Adrian Vargas, and Trey Motley as pallbearers, with honorary pallbearers; any rebel athlete from 1986 to present. Burial services will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens, 6800 S State Highway 349, Midland, TX 79706 The family is requesting a "Maroon Out" to celebrate Dot's love for her Rebels.
