Nelda McDuffey Obituary
Nelda G. Warren McDuffey, 88 of Midland, passed away on October 20, 2017. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Serenity Memorial Gardens. A Memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at First Baptist Church Chapel.
Nelda G. Warren McDuffey was born on June 25, 1929 to Alberta and H.D. Warren. She grew up in Eastland and married the love of her life Samuel McDuffey on June 17, 1949. She taught pre-school for over 50 years at First Baptist Church.
Nelda is survived by her husband of 68 years, Samuel and their seven children, Susan McDuffey, Cindy Singleton (Keith) , Perry McDuffey (Veronika), Kim Johnson (David), Judy Flood (Tom), Kasie McDuffey, and Kortnie McDuffey. She is also survived by one brother, Terry Warren (Nellie Sue) of Eastland; ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
The family wants to express their appreciation to Crystal Kincaid of Home Hospice of Midland.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church Pre-School, Home Hospice of Midland or American Cancer Society.
