Paul Crisp Obituary

Paul Crisp, Jr., 48, a life-long Midlander, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017 with his loving family by his side. Paul was born on November 28, 1968 in Stanton, Texas, one of 14 children born to Paul, Sr. and Bertha Crisp. Paul was gifted with the ability of working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Even the most challenging of individuals responded to Paul's calming presence. Paul was a very friendly, happy, and outgoing person who loved life. He loved being outside whether it was fishing, BBQing, or just sitting at the park getting fresh air. He was always the life of the party and will truly be missed. Most of all, Paul was a devoted family man with a big smile and an even larger heart. Paul loved his wife, his children, his grandchildren, and his big, wonderful family. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Bertha; sisters, Pauline and Bertha Mae; a brother, Elvin Earle; four siblings lost before birth; and his son, Le'Paul Crisp. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Conjetta; a daughter, Asiaanne (Shanti) of Temple; a son, Travon Crisp of Midland, three grandchildren, Audryna Crisp of Midland, and Desmond and Dezaria Forest of Temple; four sisters, Addie Faye Haynes of Stanford, Diana Durham of San Angelo, and Janice Stephenson and Betty Crisp, both of Midland; four brothers, Aron Crisp of Dewey, Arizona, Herbert Crisp of Midland, John Crisp of Amarillo, and Frederick Wayne Crisp of Midland; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. A wake will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Thomas Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Thomas Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
