Shirley Ann Demerson

On September 12, 2015, Shirley Ann Demerson, 56, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Shirley was born on October 23, 1958 in Lubbock, TX to Leroy Rivers and Lily Freeman. She was later raised in Lubbock by her parents Ezel and Lillie Wilks. She married Albert Demerson Jr. in 1988 and lived in Midland until her passing. She was employed at Midland Memorial Hospital for 28 years and touched many lives. Shirley is survived by her husband, Albert Demerson Jr. of Midland; daughters, Dee Rivers of Midland, Shericka Strambler and husband Javius of Midland, Theresa Wilson and husband Allen of Midland; sons, Albert Demerson III of Fort Worth, Percy Demerson of Fort Worth and David Demerson and wife Porsha of Fort Worth; two sisters, four brothers and a host of grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, aunt and great-grandmother. Family will be honored for you to join them for her homegoing on Friday September 18, 2015 at 10:00 am at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church and will be directed by Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin funeral home and chapel.
