Zachery Pete Gomez Galindo

Zachary Pete Gomez Galindo, 21, was born September 26, 1995 in Midland, Texas. He passed away on May 22, 2017. Zach graduated from Lee High in 2014. He loved to play baseball, play his PS4, and hang out with his girlfriend, friends, and family. He especially loved chasing his niece Adrienne around. Zach had a wonderful personality and was a friend to many; he knew just what to say to make you laugh or smile. His laugh and smile was contagious. Zach is survived by his father, Pedro C Galindo; his mother, Liliana Valdez and stepfather Carlos Valdez; his sister, Courtney Gomez; his grandmother, Julia C. Galindo, all of Midland; and by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jesus Galindo of Midland; grandmother, Manuela Alvarado of Plainview; and grandfather, Cruz Gomez of Odessa. Viewing will be Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Lewallen Garcia Pipkin Funeral Home and Friday, May 26, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., with a rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. at Lewallen Garcia Pipkin Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, May 27, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish and Shrine Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens. Honorary pallbearers include Josh Galindo, Jason Galindo, Jesse Galindo, Tommy Galindo, Christian Galindo, Anthony Vega, Julio Ruiz, Cameron Vargas, John Lopez, Jordan Blanco, Joey Gonzalez, Chris Talavera, and Joey Fuentes. The family would like to say thank you for all the prayers, food, and especially the company during this difficult time.
