Juan Varela Vargas, born on September 18, 1955, in Durango, Mexico, and a resident of Midland, Texas, passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 68. Juan's life was a testament to love, family, and the profound impact a person can have on those around them.

Juan was a devoted father, a caring grandfather, and a beloved friend. His love for his children and his granddaughters  knew no bounds, and his family was at the center of his world. He shared his wisdom, kindness, and warmth with everyone he met, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his loving children, Maurilio Varela, Emilio Varela, and Juan Varela, as well as all his cherished grandchildren. Juan's legacy lives on through the generations he leaves behind, and his memory will continue to inspire and comfort those who loved him.

A viewing to celebrate Juan's life will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023, from 1 pm to 9 pm at the Heavenly Gate Funeral Home Chapel in Midland, Texas. A funeral mass in his honor will take place on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at 10 am, at San Miguel Arcangel Catholic Church followed by a burial service at Serenity Memorial Gardens.

In our hearts, Juan Varela Vargas will forever be remembered for his unwavering love and the countless memories he created with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed, and we offer our prayers for his peaceful rest and the comfort of those who mourn his loss.
