Adan Tijerina Ramos received his crown on September 3rd, surrounded by family, at 9:03pm in Plano, TX. He entered the pearly gates of gold to his forever home.
Adan was born on April 29th, 1944 in San Angelo, TX. He grew up in Odessa, TX with his parents and six siblings, and graduated from Ector High School in 1964. He married Frances Perez on March 30th, 1968. Together they raised two children, Jo Ann and Ramon, in Midland, TX, where they spent many happy years. During his family years, Adan worked as a machinist at Hy-Bon and TRW, later he and Frances moved to Garland, TX in 1989 where they would spend his remaining years. His life was devoted to the Lord, ministry, and serving others. Adan and Frances are members of Iglesia Cristiana El Gilgal.
He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren for his love, positive energy, and spontaneous demeanor. He never missed an opportunity to share about his faith and love for the Lord and was a comedian to those all around him. He was indeed the Best Papo Ever!
Adan was preceded in death by his parents, Abel and Rosita Ramos, sisters, brother, and granddaughter, Clarissa Renee Ramos. He is survived by his loving wife and "honey" of 52 years, Frances Ramos; His daughter, Jo Ann Ramos Duran and husband, Ricky L. Duran; His son, Ramon Adan Ramos and wife, Delma Ramos. He has six grandchildren and three great grandsons.
Viewing begins on Wednesday, September 9th from 9:00am-9:00pm and prayer service at 7pm at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Chapel.
