Antonia Valles

Antonia Mongarro Yharte Valles, 93 years young, was born April 17, 1925 in San Vicente Texas and was heaven bound on June 8, 2018 at 8:00 am in Midland, Texas. She married Jesse Valles and had 6 children. She is survived by 2 sons, 4 daughters and their spouses: Jesse and Sela Valles, of Midland, TX, Ramon and Anita Valles, of Midland, TX, Teresa and Manuel Torres, of Midland, TX, Janie and Carlos Equiniones, of Midland, TX, Brenda and Daniel Sanchez, of Grand Prairie, TX, Esmeralda Valles, of Midland, TX; 5 brothers, Jose (Josefina), Gilberto (Julia), Macario, Abraham (Lupe), Hermenegildo (Manuela); 5 sisters, Cesaria (Presciliano), Francisca (Benito), Consuelo, Florinda(Rafael), Teresita (Ricardo); numerous nieces and nephews; 17 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Jesse Valles, mother, Isabel Yharte, father, Antonio Yharte, stepmother, Inez Yharte, 2 brothers, Isabel Yharte and Wenceslado Yharte, sister, Felicita Yharte Flores, granddaughter, Jennifer Michelle Sanchez, and great grandson, Jesse Noel Valles. Antonia lived in Midland for the greater part of her life. Her passion was her family. She raised them with honesty, integrity, and a lot of love. A single mother who instilled in them strength, values, and a love for God. Her favorite scripture was Psalm 121 and lived her life as quoted in Proverbs 31. She was known as Tony, mom, grandma, LuLu and GG. She was a member of the Latin Free Methodist Church in Midland, TX. Grandma, as most everyone who knew her, was softhearted and she never passed up an opportunity to share a kind word and Jesus. Her smile would melt your heart and she would touch your heart with a wise word and advice. While she will be extremely missed by everyone, she knew that she would see them again if they gave their lives to Jesus. She was the prayer warrior of the family and was known for laying hands as she prayed healing and restoration to those in need. Prayer services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow at Iglesia Bautista Monte Sinai, 2105 S. Baird St. in Midland. Pallbearers for the service will be grandsons, Jesse Frank Valles, Gabriel David Valles, John Thomas Valles, Roman Adrian Torres, Angel Valles and Michael Valles. Honorary Pallbearers will be her great grandsons as they follow behind the precession. Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory in Midland.
