Enrique Gamboa Obituary
Enrique Lara Gamboa, 63, of Midland passed away peacefully on March 1, 2020 at Midland Memorial Hospital. A visitation will be held 12:00pm-9:00pm, Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Templo La Hermosa Bautista, 1514 W. CR 121, Midland, TX. The funeral service will take place at 2:00pm, Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at the same location.
Enrique was born on March 5, 1956 in San Vicente Coahuila, Mexico to Sr. Ventura and Margarita Gamboa. He was second to the oldest of eight children with five sisters and two brothers. Enrique and Sandra were happily married for 25 years. She was the love of his life as he was the love of her life as well. Enrique retired from MISD after 32 years of service. He also worked for Health South (Encompass) for 14 years prior to his first stroke. Through his many years of work, he was well respected and loved by his co-workers and employers and loved and respected twice as much back. Enrique was a loving husband, father, grandpa, son and brother. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him.
Enrique is survived by his parents Sr. Ventura and Margarita Gamboa; his loving wife, Sandra Gamboa; his sons Miguel and wife Laura Gonzalez, Thomas Gonzalez; daughter Emily Gamboa; six grandchildren, Patrick Gonzalez, Miguel Gonzalez, Jr., Gracelynn Gonzalez, Faith Gonzalez, Enrique Gamboa and Alejandra Gamboa; siblings Ernestino Rubio, Yolanda Gamboa, Aclan Gamboa, Pedro and wife Mari Gamboa, Clara and husband David Guillermo, Eunice and husband Luis Garcia, Emma and husband Enrique Ruiz and numerous nieces and nephews.
Enrique was a man of strong faith and he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. We were all truly blessed to have had you in our lives. We now know you are watching over us and protecting us until we meet again.
