Francis Ybarra

Francis Ybarra, 41 of Midland, Texas passed away on April 14, 2018. Francis was born on December 1, 1976 in Pecos, Texas. She went to Midland High School and later received her GED. She worked as a bartender at the Detour Bar and loved cooking, riding motorcycles, traveling, listening to Tejano music and having parties. She also loved playing with and taking care of her nieces and nephews. Francis was very outgoing, loved to laugh and always helped people in any way she could. She was a loving daughter, mother and sister who loved being surrounded by her family and friends. Francis is preceded in death by her father Chris Ybarra. She is survived by her mother, Vickie Ybarra; sisters Connie Tavarez, Lisa Rodriguez and April Light; brothers Christopher Ybarra, Dominic Ybarra, Felipe Ybarra and David Mata; children Hector Sanchez, Mark Sanchez and Serena Sanchez; 11 nephews; 17 nieces; 5 great nephews; 5 great nieces and many uncles, aunts and cousins. Francis will lie in state at Ellis Funeral Home on Friday, April 20, 2018 with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. There will be a Funeral Mass held at San Miguel Catholic Church at 1100 Camp Street on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens. Donations and flowers may be sent to Ellis Funeral Home or to her mother's house at 2623 Roosevelt, Midland, Texas 79701.
