Herman Jefferson

Herman Jefferson, 82, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017, he was born on December 20th, 1935 to the late Estella and Leslie Jefferson in Kossie, Texas. He also attended Kossie High School. He later moved to Midland Texas where he found the love of his life Arlena Jefferson. They were married on July 10th 1979. Herman worked for Texaco service station for several years, he later joined the transportation services for Midland Independent School District, he retired from the district at the age of 80. He was well known for his big smile and Hearty laugh. He was also known by his granddaughters as "Mister fix it" as there was nothing he couldn't fix. Herman was preceded in death by his parents; Estelle and Leslie Jefferson, siblings; Sunell, James, Joe, Tommie Lee and Leslie Rail Jefferson. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Arlena Jefferson, his brother Billy (Mary)Jefferson, his children, Herman Jefferson (Ejewell), Erma silmon (Alvin), Rosie Jefferson- Shelton, Johnny Ray Jefferson, Roy Lee Jefferson, (Pamela) Lee Edward Jefferson, and Elizabeth Ndukama (Stanley). His grandchildren, and great grandchildren with a host of other relatives and Friends. Services for Herman Jefferson will be Friday October 27th 2017 at 1 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church 201 South Carver Street Midland Texas.
