Leopoldo Mendias Alvarado, 66 of Midland, Texas passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019. Viewing will be Friday February 1st from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., Saturday Feb. 2nd from 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Sunday Feb. 3rd from 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a rosary Sunday evening starting at 7:00 p.m. all at Heavenly Gate Funeral Home Chapel, 405 N. Terrell St. Funeral mass is set for Monday, Feb. 4that 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish & Shrine. Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens. He is survived by his wife, Anita Alvarado; four sons, Guadalupe Garcia, Ernesto Escontrias, Jesus Escontrias and Joel Alvarado; a daughter, Maria Garcia; two brothers, three sisters, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
