Monserrath Bernal Obituary
On Thursday, January 21st, Monserrath Bernal, loving mother and grandmother, passed
away at the age of 81.
Monse was born July 1, 1939 in Ignacio Zaragoza, Mexico. She and her late husband
(Moises Bernal) moved to Midland in the early 1990s to be closer to family. Monse
loved-amongst other things-get-togethers with family, dogs, and gardening. She also
enjoyed a good debate and loved conversing with others.
Monse was preceded in death by her husband, Moises, and her siblings Gustavo,
Evangelina, and Roselia. She is survived by her five children, Hermenegildo, Jaime,
Ruben, Bertha, Lorena and her siblings, Esperanza and Carlota. She is also survived
by 14 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Viewing will be Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service
at 7:00 p.m. that evening at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside Service will be held
