Susanne D. Rios

Susanne D Rios, age 61, went home with Our Heavenly Father on Wednesday January 9, 2019 after a courageous battle of pancreatic cancer. Susanne was born on November 7, 1957 in Monahans, Texas and raised in Midland, TX to Louis Dominguez Sr and Ramona Sanchez Dominguez. At the age of 15 she met and married the Love of her life her soulmate Armando Rios of 45 years at the time of her death. She had 3 children Jennifer, Jeannette and Armando Jr (AJ). She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking out, dancing, playing bingo and going to garage sales she had a love for music listening to oldies but goodies and Tejano music but most of all she loved the time she had with her Grandchildren and Great grandchildren that she loved so much. Susanne had a heart of Gold she was loved by so many and loved everyone she encountered especially her neighbor Susan Turner. She touched the hearts and lives of all her cousins and friends. Susanne is survived by her husband Armando Rios of Midland, TX; Two daughters Jennifer Armendariz and husband Victor of Midland, TX and Jeannette Rios and husband Daniel Quintanilla of Midland, TX; One son Armando Rios Jr and wife Lisa Macomber of Fort Stockton, TX; Her Mother Ramona S Dominguez of Midland, TX; two brothers Louis Dominguez Jr and wife Anna of Midland, TX and Ricky Dominguez and wife BillieAnn of Big Spring, TX; one sister Emelda Dominguez and husband John of Midland, TX; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father Louis Dominguez Sr; Great Granddaughter Ava Alvarez; Maternal grandparents Nicolas Sanchez and Jesse Perez Sanchez; Paternal Grandparents Felipe Dominguez and Vidala Dominguez. Family and Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering with a viewing on Saturday January 12, 2019 from 1:00 to 9:00. A Rosary will be held @ 7:00 p.m. Sunday January 13, 2019 at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be Monday January 14, 2019 @ 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady Guadalupe Parish & Shrine. Burial will follow at Serenity Gardens. Pallbearers for the service will be Victor Armendariz IV, David Armendariz, Rodney Warren Jr, Oscar Gonzalez, Thomas Rios, Greg Bryant, Jacob Rios and Joshua Rios Our Family would like express our Gratitude towards Dr. Onkendi and the medical staff of UMC Lubbock and Dr Chae and medical staff of Texas Onconlogy.
