Yvonne Marie Gutierrez

"My legacy is that I stayed on course… from the beginning to the end, because I believed in something inside of me." Yvonne Marie Gutierrez, 36 of Midland, TX was called home on December 23, 2017. Yvonne was born on August 11, 1981 in Midland, TX to Rick and Rosa Gutierrez. A kind-hearted soul made of gold was a blessing to all that she came in contact with. She was a stranger to no one and made sure to love all and love hard. Life of the party and a smile that could melt anyone's heart she had. She would always say, "I was raised to see no color and to treat everyone the same." She left a legacy here on earth that cannot be replaced and for that we are forever blessed and grateful. Yvonne attended Midland High School and graduated in 1999. She was blessed with two children who were her pride and joy; Ydan and Jordan Enriquez and a step-daughter Dazzalyne who she loved and adored. She loved her Dallas Cowboys and also enjoyed bingo time with her grandpa. She also loved to entertain and gather with friends. Yvonne was employed at Tucker Midstream and loved what she did. She is survived by her two sons Ydan and Jordan Enriquez, step-daughter Dazzalyne, parents Rick and Rosa Gutierrez, brother and sister-in-law Rocky and Ashley Gutierrez, Grandpa Fermin Romero, Grandma Adela, numerous aunts, uncles and cousin whom all adored her. She is preceded in death by: Grandparents Fermin B. Gutierrez Sr., and Carmen Romero; First cousin Fermin R. Sanchez; Great Grandparents Margarito and Julia Gutierrez, Sanovio and Carolina Puga, Emilio and Francisca Esquivel, Noberto and Temotea Romero; Evening Rosary will be held on December 28, 2017 at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin funeral home, 2508 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705 at 7pm. Funeral services will be held on December 29, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1401 Garden Lane, Midland, TX 79701 at 10am. Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family would like to express their gratitude towards all those who joined Yvonne in the fight and all those who continue to carry on her legacy.
