Carlos Alfonso Valdez

Carlos Alfonso Valdez was born February 3rd, 1970 to Ysidra & Gonzalo Valdez. He passed away surrounded by all his loved ones October 22, 2022. He had 1 brother and 6 sisters who gave him multiple nieces and nephews. Carlos married his wife Liliana in 2008. He was the most hardworking man and spent his years working as a truck driver and then as a diesel mechanic. There wasn't much he couldn't fix and he was constantly working on something. He had 5 kids he loved dearly and his grandkids were the loves of his life. If he wasn't with his family or working, you'd find him at the horse races cheering on his horses or playing bingo with his wife. He greatly loved his horses, goats, and chickens.

Carlos is survived by his wife Liliana, children: son Carlos Valdez Jr (Vanessa), daughters; Yvette Hernandez, Courtney Borunda (Edgar), & Berenice Gaona (Chris) . His 8 grandchildren: Charlie, Jonas, Jayden, Jason, Adrienne, Jaxson, Julian, Anayalee. & Alivia. His 3 sisters: Oralia Franco, Cecilia, Valdez & Maricela Chavez along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Carlos is preceded in death by his parents Gonzalo & Ysidra, son Zachary Galindo, brother Gonzalo Valdez, sisters: Sylvia Valdez, Maria Elena Valdez, Patricia Valdez, and his grandparents.
Pallbearers include; Juan Rodriguez, Luis Rodriguez, Alejandro Rodriguez, Fernando Rodriguez, Juan Carlos Valdez, Daniel Carrasco, Christian Carrasco, & Carlos Valdez Jr.

Viewing will be Tuesday, October 25th from 10:00am – 9:00pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00pm Tuesday evening. Funeral service is set for Wednesday, October 26th at 10:00 am at San Miguel Arcangel Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
