Christopher "Chris" Angel Bustamante

Christopher Angel Bustamante, 19, of Midland, Texas passed away on September 19, 2024. Chris was born in Midland, Texas to Patricia Bustamante on August 15, 2005.

He attended school in Midland and graduated from Legacy High School (Lee High) in 2022. Chris was employed at Midland Memorial Hospital as an office assistant/stocker for Janessa Berry. Chris participated in Young Life Club, Bible based Foundation, as well as Jacey Anderson Special Olympics Team Athletics. With Special Olympics, Chris participated in golf; receiving a 2nd metal chip, bowling, basketball and ran track. Chris received many awards and achievements in school and was a long-time member of SHARE with Ms. Traci Hopper. Chris also enjoyed working with his hands while building, making puzzles, drawing maps and floor plans.

Chris is survived by his mother Patricia Bustamante, sister Judith Dominguez, brother Jonathan Zane Bustamante, grandmother Ana Maria Marquez, uncle Eladio Bustamante, grandfather Ovidio Bustamante, step grandfather Jose Hernandez, uncle Marc Reyes and many more close family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Martin Quiroz, Israel (Pooh) Castilla, Eladio Bustamante, Liam Triana Quiroz, and Diego Soto.

Visitation will be Wednesday September 25, 2024, at Willowbrook Funeral Home Chapel, 1311 W. Florida Ave., Midland, TX, from 9:00 am to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Willowbrook Home Chapel at 10:00 am on Thursday September 26, 2024, with Pastor Robb Foreman, Midland Police Dept. Chaplin and Pastor of Home Line Baptist Church, presiding. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
