Daniel Hinojos Martinez

Daniel "Blood" Hinojos Martinez, 64, of Midland Texas, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at his home. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 30, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 1401 Garden Lane with Decon Jesse Guajardo. Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Garden Cemetery. A rosary will be held for Daniel Martinez On Sunday night, January 29, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, Midland, Texas. Daniel was born December 10, 1952 in Big Springs, Texas to Tomasa and Manuel (Hinojos) Martinez. He enjoyed to work; he was an auto painter for 40+ years. He was a hard-working man. He loved his family and friends. He was Dallas Cowboy fan as a young man. He loved his golf, fishing, music, and dancing. Survivors include his mother Tomasa H. Martinez; his daughter, Victoria Rodriguez, his two sons, Daniel Louis Martinez and Matthew Martinez; seven grandchildren, Clarissa, Alexandra, Neaveh, Karis, Lilly, Ezra, and Xavier; four sisters, Gloria Martinez, Linda Alvarez, Janie Velarde, and Sylvia Ontiveros; two brothers, Mike Martinez and Anthony Martinez; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Martinez; one brother, Lonjino "Cisco" Perales; and his wife, Janice T. Martinez. My dad could never meet a stranger. He will be missed by many!
