Delia Jimenez Obituary

Delia Vidal Jimenez, 80, of Midland, TX, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2023 in Lubbock, TX.

Delia was born in Midland, TX to Lila Hernandez on July 7, 1942. She was married to David Jimenez on January 3, 1980 in Midland, TX.

Delia is survived by her children San Juanita Wynn, Benito Banda, Gilbert Banda, Cecilia Tyler, Esther Jimenez, Vicente Jimenez, Reyetos Valdez, Vivian Dominguez, and Jesse Jimenez; grandchildren Matthew Ortiz, Danyel Wynn, Stephanie Wynn, Theresa Wynn, Mike Hernandez, Cordell Banda, Tony Banda, Bianca Tribley, Gabriel Pena, Maritza Villareal, Elicet Monreal, Jimena Monreal, Billie Jimenez, David Jimenez, Vanessa Valdez, Justin Valdez, Aubree Valdez, Paloma Dominguez, and Eliseo Jimenez; and by 9 great-grandchildren.

Delia was preceded in death by her mother Lila Hernandez, husband David Jimenez, and son Fidencio Banda.

Viewing and visitation will be on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, from 11:00am – 8:00pm with a Rosary service at 7:00pm at Willowbrook Funeral Home, 1311 W. Florida Ave., Midland, TX 79701.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish and Shrine, 1401 Garden Lane, Midland, TX 79701, with Deacon Ricardo Torres officiating. Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 6800 S. State Hwy 349, Midland, TX 79706.
