Diana Salazar, 35, of Midland Texas, passed away unexpectedly on the evening of Tuesday February 25th, 2025. Born in Dallas Texas, and raised in Rockwall Texas, Diana graduated from Rockwall Highschool in 2008, where she continued her studies to receive her certificates in Dental Assistance and Veterinary Technology. Diana was an extremely loved devoted mother, daughter, aunt, sister, and best friend. She was a truly softspoken, kind, and Godly person, with a pure soul that we all had the pleasure of growing up with. She was happily employed at the Midland Animal Clinic and Hospital. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and her partner Timothy Hernandez, whether that be at the movies, events, or going out of town. Most of all, she found herself deeply captivated by journaling, studying, and making a connection with her bible and God.
She is survived by her children George Lopez (15), Liliana Davis (9), her mother Maria Marquez, her father Juan Salazar, her stepfather Daniel Marquez, her siblings Noemi Perez, Henry Salazar, and Lorena Marquez, and her nephew Alvaro Navarrete. She is preceded in death by her grandmother Juana Torres Ortiz.
The viewing will be held on Monday March 3rd from 11am to 9pm, with a rosary starting at 7pm at the Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home and Chapel. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday March 4th at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish and Shrine at 10:00am with a burial to follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
Our family would like to extend our thanks to all of Diana's friends and family, whom she loved dearly. And a special thank you to our honorary pallbearers: Henry Salazar, Robie Davis, Gualver Perez, Fernando Navarrete, Rocky Navarrete, Isaiah Menchaca, Malachi Conde, and Jesus Munoz.
