He was a compassionate Christian man who loved God. He was a loving man and a hard worker, Simon enjoyed spending time with his family, grilling was his specialty. He also enjoyed gardening and loved being around his farm animals, especially horses. As a young man his favorite sport was the national sport of Mexico, The Charreria. He also enjoyed working at Oil Tech, as a truck driver and most of all he loved the fellowship of those closest to him. He was loved by so many and will be missed greatly.

Eliacer is survived by his beloved wife Romelia, and children Eliacer Jr Alvarado, Myra Hernandez, Carlos Alvarado, Amanda Alvardo, and stepdaughter Britney Armendariz, and all his beloved grandchildren.

He is also survived by his sisters Veronica Urquidez, Guadalupe Alvarado, brothers Jesus Ruben Alvarado and Adan Alvarado.

He is preceded in death by his parents Adan and Guadalupe Alvarado and his grandparents Rafael Polanco Contreras and Margarita Galindo Ramos.
