Ellis Edward Warren III

Ellis Edward Warren III (Dumplin) 54 of Midland, departed from this life on February 3, 2017. He was born August 29, 1962 to Mary and Ellis Warren Jr,. Ellis attended Midland High School where he met his high school sweetheart Judy Johnson the two later married on November 29, 2008. Ellis enjoyed working as a mechanic, fast cars and making people laugh. Ellis was a loving and caring son, grandson, brother, father and friend. He is proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandfather. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Judy Johnson-Warren, two sons, Dedric and wife Kristen Marrs, Daravion Johnso-Warren; daughter, Emiya Johnson-Warren; parents Mary and Ellis Warren Jr., maternal grandmother Pearlie Johnson, two brothers Derrick Warren, Rodney and wife Toccara Warren, sister Monica and husband Isaac Jennings. Three grandsons Jordan, Jeremiyah and Rylan. He is also survived by a host of uncles, aunts, nieces and several close cousins. Before passing Dumplin found peace with the Lord Jesus Christ stating "God will forgive you for anything, but first you have to forgive yourself". Ellis never met a stranger and was well loved by many people he was dependable, hardworking and helpful. The funeral is under the direction of Jackie Warren Home. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Temple C.O.G.I.C. on Saturday, February 11, 2017. Burial is at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
