Emilio Rubio Jr.

Emilio Rubio Jr. was born on June 4, 1978, to Emilio Rubio Sr. and Maria Rubio. He passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 47, at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Emilio was preceded in death by his father, Emilio Rubio Sr. He is survived by his daughters, Krystabel Rubio and husband Alexander Garcia, and Isabel Rubio and husband Caleb Urias. He is also survived by his beloved grandsons, Mason Garcia and Everett Gaona.

Emilio is also survived by his bonus children, Carlos Baeza and wife Arely Castillo; Kassandra Baeza; and Abraham Baeza and wife Angie Segovia. He is also survived by his bonus grandchildren, Adelynn Hernandez, Joel Hernandez Jr., Ayleen Baeza, Ariana Baeza, Analee Baeza, Ruby Adabell Alvarez, and Ariela Baeza.

He is survived by his siblings, Lalo Rubio and wife Tessie; Connie Rubio; Ana Rios and husband Daniel Carrasco; Belinda Rubio Torres and husband Luis; and Enoc Rubio. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends who will cherish his memory.

Emilio worked as a contracted truck driver, traveling all across the United States. He was a hardworking man who truly lived life to the fullest. When he was not on the road, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and had a special love for horses. Emilio accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior over a decade ago. He was known for his compassion, strong work ethic, and joyful spirit. He was often described as the life of the party and brought laughter and warmth wherever he went.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral Arrangements Viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 5:00pm -9:00pm with a prayer service to begin at 7:00pm at Heavenly Gate Funeral Home, 405 N Terrell St, Midland, TX 79701. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM also at Heavenly Gate Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
