Fabian Garcia Obituary

Fabian Johnny Garcia, age 62, beloved husband to Delia Garcia of 45 years and loving father of 6, was called home to meet his savior on February 23, 2024.

Fabian was born to Isidro and Mary Garcia in Clovis, New Mexico on July 10, 1961. Fabian worked for Midland Memorial Hospital for 20 years working his way up from a radiology technician to supervisor in the radiology department. In his spare time, you could always find him fixing something in the house, reading, sitting at his computer playing a game or watching a western on TV. Fabian was always such a hard-working dependable man. His love for God, his wife and family compelled him to never give up, even through his courageous battle with his sickness. His departure has left a huge void in the lives of all who knew and loved him.

Fabian is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers David Garcia and Sotero Garcia.

He is survived by his wife Delia Garcia; children Lizzie Yorio husband Sal, John Garcia wife Josefina, Lupe Garcia, Andrew Garcia wife Haley Brittain, Guadalupe Jr. Garcia, and Israel “Izzy” Garcia along with 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; two brothers Philip Garcia of Clovis, NM and Leroy Garcia of Albuquerque, NM.

Viewing and celebration of Fabian’s life will be from 9:00am to 8:00pm on Tuesday, February 27th, with a Rosary starting at 7:00pm at Willowbrook Funeral Home, 1311 W. Florida Ave., Midland, TX 79701.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at San Miguel Arcángel Catholic Church, 1100 Camp St., Midland, TX 79701, with Father Patrick Akpanobong officiating. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens, 6800 S. State Hwy 349, Midland, TX 79706.


Fabián Johnny García, de 62 años, amado esposo de Delia García de 45 años y amoroso padre de 6 fue llamado a casa para encontrarse con su salvador el 23 de febrero de 2024.

Fabián nació en Clovis, Nuevo México, el 10 de julio de 1961. Fabian trabajó para Midland Memorial Hospital durante 20 años, ascendiendo de técnico de radiología a supervisor en el departamento de radiología. En su tiempo libre, siempre se le podía encontrar arreglando algo en la casa, leyendo, sentado frente a su ordenador jugando a un juego o viendo un western en la televisión. Fabián siempre fue un hombre muy trabajador y confiable. Su amor por Dios, su esposa y su familia lo impulsaron a nunca darse por vencido, incluso a través de su valiente batalla contra su enfermedad. Su partida ha dejado un gran vacío en la vida de todos los que lo conocieron y lo amaron.

A Fabián le preceden en la muerte sus padres, sus hermanos David García y Sotero García.

Le sobreviven su esposa Delia García; sus hijos Lizzie Yorio, su esposo Sal, John García, su esposa Josefina, Lupe García, Andrew García, su esposa Haley Brittain, Guadalupe Jr. García y Israel "Izzy" García, junto con 9 nietos y 4 bisnietos; dos hermanos, Philip Garcia de Clovis, NM y Leroy Garcia de Albuquerque, NM.

El visitacion y la celebración de la vida de Fabián será de 9:00 a.m. a 8:00 p.m. el martes 27 de febrero, con un rosario a partir de las 7:00 p.m. en Willowbrook Funeral Home, 1311 W. Florida Ave., Midland, TX 79701.

Se llevará a cabo una misa fúnebre a las 2:00 p.m. el miércoles 28 de febrero de 2024 en la Iglesia Católica San Miguel Arcángel, 1100 Camp St., Midland, TX 79701, oficiada por el padre Patrick Akpanobong. El entierro se llevará a cabo en Serenity Memorial Gardens, 6800 S. State Hwy 349, Midland, TX 79706.
