Gloria Marin Rodriquez

Gloria Marin Rodriquez from Midland, TX was called Home on May 24, 2018. She was born in Loraine, TX on August 8, 1950 to Jose and Maximina Marin. She attended Monahans High School and later married Samuel H. Rodriquez. She attended the LVN program at Midland College and worked for Midland Independent School District until her retirement. She was deeply devoted to her husband and family. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play softball and perform on stage. She was a longtime member at Primera Iglesia Bautista where she taught GA's and was active in Vacation Bible School. She was a big Chicago Cubs fan and lived out one of her dreams by seeing them play in Wrigley Field. Gloria is survived by her children, Abel Rodriquez and Paula Rodriquez; her grandchildren, Samantha Zoller and Jacob Zoller; her son - in - law, Charles Zoller; four sisters, Pauline Enriquez, Lydia Natividad of Menard, TX, Eva Rubio, and Maria Hernandez; three brothers, Daniel Marin of Las Vegas, NV, Elias Marin of Odessa, TX, and Joel Marin; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Aiden, her brothers Vicente Marin of Monahans, TX; Moises Marin of Odessa, TX; Chavelo Marin of Ft. Worth, TX; David Marin of Midland, TX; and Obed Marin of Monahans, TX; and her sister Esther Orosco of Monahans, TX. Services will include a viewing and Memorial Service on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 7 pm at Heavenly Gate Funeral Home. Funeral will be Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10 am at Primera Iglesia Bautista under the direction of Rev. Manuel De La Rosa and Elias Marin. Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
