Ildelisa Valenzuela de Garcia, lovingly known as Chata, was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, on July 31, 1954. After a life richly lived and deeply loved, she passed away on June 13, 2026, surrounded by the legacy of love she spent a lifetime building.

 For 54 years, Chata shared a beautiful marriage with the love of her life, Raymundo Garcia, creating a legacy of love that will continue through generations of family.

Chata was the foundation of her family, a woman whose love could be felt in every hug, every prayer, every meal shared around her table, and every sacrifice she made for those she loved.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Raymundo Garcia; her four children, Ray Garcia (Regina Waddle), Norma Garcia (Roberto Gonzalez), Nancy Garcia (Alex Espinoza), and Alex Garcia (Belinda Garcia); 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her seven brothers: Mauricio, Ruben, Carlos, Hector, Hugo Valenzuela, Alfredo and Joel Jimenez; and her sister, Eustolia Valenzuela Bermudez.

Chata was preceded in death by her mother, Maria Guadalupe Hernandez; her sister Silvia Espinoza; her daughters, Cynthia Isabel Garcia and Hilda Lisbet Garcia; her son-in-law, Alex Espinoza; and her grandson, Giovani Espinoza.

Funeral Services will be held at Heavenly Gate Funeral Home & Chapel 405 N. Terrell, Midland, TX 79701. The family will be doing a viewing on Wednesday June 17, 2026, 11am-9pm. The same day the family will be holding a Rosary at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be on Thursday June 18,2026 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish and Shrine. Burial will Follow at Serenity Memorial Garden Cemetery

The family would like to thank everyone who loved Chata and everyone who has showed their condolences to the family.

Her greatest legacy is the love she poured into her family, a love that will continue to live on for generations.

Ildelisa Valenzuela de Garcia, cariñosamente conocida como Chata, nació en Guadalajara, Jalisco, México, el 31 de julio de 1954. Después de una vida plena, llena de amor y dedicada a su familia, partió de este mundo el 13 de junio de 2026, dejando un legado de amor que construyó durante toda su vida.

Durante 54 años, Chata compartió un hermoso matrimonio con el amor de su vida, Raymundo Garcia, creando un legado de amor que continuará a través de generaciones de su familia.

Chata fue el pilar de su familia, una mujer cuyo amor se reflejaba en cada abrazo, cada oración, cada comida compartida alrededor de su mesa y cada sacrificio que hizo por aquellos a quienes amaba.

Le sobreviven su amado esposo, Raymundo Garcia; sus cuatro hijos: Ray Garcia (Regina Waddle), Norma Garcia (Roberto Gonzalez), Nancy Garcia (Alex Espinoza) y Alex Garcia (Belinda Garcia); 16 nietos y 18 bisnietos.

También le sobreviven sus siete hermanos: Mauricio Valenzuela, Ruben Valenzuela, Carlos Valenzuela, Hector Valenzuela, Hugo Valenzuela, Alfredo Jimenez y Joel Jimenez; así como su hermana, Eustolia Valenzuela Bermudez.

Le precedieron en la muerte su madre, Maria Guadalupe Hernandez; su hermana, Silvia Espinoza; sus hijas, Cynthia Isabel Garcia e Hilda Lisbet Garcia; su yerno, Alex Espinoza; y su nieto, Giovani Espinoza.

 Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo en Heavenly Gate Funeral Home & Chapel, ubicado en 405 N. Terrell, Midland, Texas 79701. La velación se realizará el miércoles 17 de junio de 2026, de 11:00 a.m. a 9:00 p.m., y el Santo Rosario se rezará ese mismo día a las 7:00 p.m.

 La Santa Misa de cuerpo presente se celebrará el jueves 18 de junio de 2026 a las 10:00 a.m. en la Parroquia y Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. Posteriormente, el sepelio se llevará a cabo en Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

La familia desea expresar su más sincero agradecimiento a todas las personas que amaron a Chata y a todos aquellos que han brindado sus oraciones, condolencias y apoyo durante estos momentos tan difíciles.

Su mayor legado es el amor que derramó sobre su familia, un amor que continuará viviendo por generaciones.
