Jaime was a hardworking and dedicated man who took great pride in his work as the owner and operator of Simental Trucking Services, Inc. Being self-employed, he poured his time and energy into his business, especially enjoying working on his semi truck. Outside of work, Jaime was known for his love of cooking his beloved carnitas, which he enjoyed sharing with family.
Jaime married Andrea Salazar Simental, on August 4, 2019, after many years together.
Jaime is survived by his wife, Andrea Salazar Simental; his daughter, Lynette Simental and her husband Jose A. Benitez; his daughter, Jessica Camryn Lozoya and her husband Ivan Lozoya; and his son, Adrian Levario. Though Jessica and Adrian were Andrea’s children, Jaime loved and raised them as his own.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Matthew C. Benitez, Elise C. Benitez, and Sebastian Luka Lozoya.
He is also survived by his mother, Telesfora Heredia Galvan, and her husband, Candido Galvan; his brother, Luis Demetrio Simental and his wife, Iris; his sister, Lucy Silva and her husband, Eduardo; and his brother, Nicholas Simental. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as extended family.
Jaime was preceded in death by his father, Demetrio Simental.
Jaime will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his independence, and his reserved way of living life on his own terms. And those who knew him well knew that he loved them in his own unique way.
