Josefina "Josie" Galindo Garcia

Josefina “Josie” Galindo Garcia, 78 years old of Midland, TX, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 27, 2026, at Elevate Church, 200 Baldwin St, Midland, TX. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 6800 S Hwy 349, Midland, TX.

Josie was born on October 25, 1947, to Francisco and Eloisa Galindo. She lived most of her life in Midland. She married Oscar Garcia and was a homemaker. She had six children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a devout Christian, she loved to praise and serve the Lord.

Josie is survived by her husband Oscar Garcia, her daughters Amabilia Hernandez, Amalia Hinojosa and husband Larry, Arcelia Cordova and husband Denny, her sons Agustine Hernandez wife Kathy, Rudy Lomeli wife Noemi and Gilbert Garcia. Grand Children Jonathon Hernandez, Felix Tagle Jr., Bruno Reyes Jr., Billy Tagle, Patrick Hernandez, Mitchell Hernandez, Christopher Lomeli, Breanna Gallardo, Haylee Garcia, Gilbert Garcia Jr., Kamryn Lomeli, Rudy Lomeli III, Joaquin Garcia, Aydan Garcia, thirteen great grand children and great-great grand-daughter.

(Josie) is preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Eloisa Galindo, her sisters Romelia Galindo, Librada Valenzuela, brothers Alfonso, Oscar and Juan Galindo.

The family would like to express their gratitude towards family and friends and the ICU nursing staff at Midland Memorial Hospital.
