Juan "Shot" Jose Esquivel Juan "Shot" Jose Esquivel, 62, of Midland, passed to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. Shot was born in Midland on December 28, 1958 to Erma M. Esquivel, and raised. He worked in the family concrete business for 46 years, his most prized role was spending time with his great-nephews and great-nieces, family and friends, enjoyed attending Bingo, and going to the flea market, Shot would frequently "load" up his truck and take spontaneous trips to Lubbock with whoever wanted to join him. He was a social person that made friends with anyone who he crossed paths with. He was sweet, loving and kind to all who surrounded him. He had a humble heart and will be missed by all. Shot is survived by his brothers Mike Esquivel of Midland, Rudy "Palio" Esquivel of Midland, Manuel "Chi-Cho" Esquivel and wife Sylvia of Midland and Johnny Esquivel and wife Melissa of Houston. Nieces Roseann Esquivel and husband Joe of Midland and Erica Esquivel of Midland, Daughter Catrina Ferrell of Midland, 23 Nephews, 26 Nieces, Uncles Emilio Esquivel, Victor Esquivel, Enrique Esquivel and Juan Esquivel, aunts Mary Lopez and Naomi Sotelo and numerous cousins. Shot is preceded in death by his mother Erma M. Esquivel, maternal grandparents Emilio Sr. and Francisca Esquivel, uncle Armando Esquivel, aunts Carmen E. Romero and Lupe Rangel, and nephew Armando Esquivel. Viewing will be held at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home & Chapel located 2508 N. Big Spring Street Midland, TX, Tuesday February 2, 2021, 9 am-9 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm. Funeral service will be held Wednesday February 3, 2021 at 10 am, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, located at 1401 Garden Lane, Midland, TX. Burial Services will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens. Honorary Pallbearers Jossiah Wilson, Joe Wilson, Eric Reyes, Gabriel Sotelo. Pallbearers Issiah Valenzuela, Joseph Wilson, Mike Esquivel, Jeremy Esquivel, Devin Velarde, Stephen Esquivel, Mundo Romero, and Mark Esquivel. Family is asking everyone that attends please wear a mask at all times. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, thoughts and support.
