Louis Janes Torres, age 42 of Garden City, Kansas, passed away on May 28, 2018. Born in Tribune, Kansas raised in Texas and in Kansas throughout his childhood. He earned a GED and he drove semi-trucks for 24 years. He had 1 son, Dion Jordan Torres of Colorado Springs, CO; 6 Daughters , Jocelyn Torres of Amarillo, Texas, Alexandra Torres of Dimmitt, Texas, Brooklynn Torres, Mckenzie Torres, Hayden Torres, Navaeh Torres all of Garden City, Kansas. He is survived by his Mother Irene Reyna of Midland, Texas; 5 brothers, Elias Torres and wife Rosy of Midland Texas, Daniel Torres and wife Cristina of Adrian, Michigan, Timothy Torres and wife Michelle of Tecumseh, Michigan, Matthew Torres of Fort Worth and Abraham Torres of Arlington, Texas; 3 sisters, Lydia Torres of San Antonio, Texas, Tabitha Rodriguez and husband Rolando of Fort Worth Texas, and Lisa Torres of Midland. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather Esabel Reyna, Paternal Grandfather Lionicio Torres, Paternal Grandmother Mary J Torres, many uncles, aunts and cousins. Viewing will be Saturday June 2nd from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Sunday June 3rd from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Heavenly Gate Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service is set for Monday June 4th at 2:00 p.m. also at Heavenly Gate Funeral Home Chapel, 405 N. Terrell St. Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens. His Nephews will have the honor of being the Pallbearers; Jonathan Torres, Jacob Torres, Timothy Torres JR., Jeremiah Torres, Lucas Torres, Andrew Torres, Rolando Rodriguez III, Alexander Rodriguez and Guadalupe Gonzalez III.
