Manuel Reyes Sr.

José “Manuel” Reyes, 76, of Midland, passed away on May 8, 2026, at 3:30PM.

Manuel was born in Cuernavaca and later attended Valley Baptist Academy (VBA) is South Texas. He carried with him a deep love for music, faith, family, and community throughout his life. Known for his kindness, wisdom, and willingness to help others, Manuel brought comfort and encouragement to those around him. He spent much of his time playing guitar and piano, singing, and sharing his talents with friends, family, and members of his community. His presence carried warmth, humor, and a quiet strength that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his sons, Jose Manuel Reyes Jr. and Samuel Alexandro Reyes, as well as his siblings and beloved grandchildren and many extended family members.

Viewing services will be held on May 14, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held on May 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home Chapel

Burial will follow the service at Serenity Memorial Garden Cemetery.
