Maria Elva Lozano

Maria Elva Lozano affectionately known as (Elva) from Midland, TX passed away on Saturday August 11, 2018 after a year's long battle against stage four brain cancer. She was born in San Antonio, TX but a very young age moved to and was raised in Midland, TX. Elva was a very laid back easy going kind of person who would do anything for anyone in need. She would stand up for what she believed in and was ready to fight for those that she cared for and loved. Elva was not married but she did have three children, twenty grandchildren and three great grandchildren, but truth be known she had many more others whom called her mom, who's children also called her grandma since she was always willing to give love to those who needed it without question. Elva is survived by her two sisters, Maricela Gonzales and Mary Ann Lopez, three brothers, Mario Gonzales, Jose Angel Gonzales and Sergio Martinez, two sons, Andrew A. Hinojos and Adam E. Hinojos, and one daughter, Annette Guerrero. Elva was preceded in death by her mother, Enedina Martinez and her brother, Luis Sanchez, Jr. Viewing will be Wednesday, August 15th from 9:00am - 9:00pm with an evening prayer service starting at 7:00pm at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home and Chapel. A funeral service is set for Thursday August 16th at 12:00pm at Stonegate Fellowship followed by burial at Serenity Memorial Gardens cemetery. The family would like to express their gratitude to all of those who have endured with them in these difficult times.
