Maria Reynosa Rubio

Maria Reynosa Rubio went home to be with her Heavenly Father on January 13, 2019 at her residence. She was born on May 5, 1934. Maria was a homemaker most of her life. She met and later married the late Joaquin Rubio Sr. in 1954. Maria formerly attended Casa de Amigos. She enjoyed making crafts, sewing and gardening. But most of all she enjoyed taking care of her loving family. Maria attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish & Shrine She was preceded in death by her husband, Joaquin R. Rubio Sr.; daughter Martha Orr; her grandson Michael Rubio and by a brother, Pablo Reynosa. Maria is survived by four sons, Joaquin R. Rubio Jr., Jesse Rubio, Joe Rubio and Pete Rubio all of Midland; son-in-law, John Orr of also of Midland; The Reynosa family of Odessa; and 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Viewing will be Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Heavenly Gate Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass is set for Friday, January 18, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish & Shrine. Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
