Maria Elena Vazquez

Maria Elena Vazquez, 69, of Midland, Texas, went to be with her Lord on April 16, 2025. She was born in San Rafael del Moral, Mun. de San Pablo Pejo, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Maria was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who dedicated her life to her family. A woman of deep Christian faith, she lived with love, strength, and compassion. She will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, nurturing spirit, and the deep love she poured into her children and grandchildren.

Maria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose Carmen Vazquez. She is survived by her children: Carmen Rodelo (Miguel), Daniel (Irasema), Joel, Raul (Lucy), Michael, and Lupe (Criselda); along with 20 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love and faith continues through them all.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24th, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Ellis Funeral Home in Midland, Texas by Pastor Lorenzo Grado of Iglesia de Jesucristo Hechos 2:38. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive family and friends following the internment at Cowboy City Venue.

Maria Elena Vazquez will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
