Maurilio Galindo Obituary

Maurilio Moreno Galindo, 67, passed away peacefully at his residence in Midland. He was born November 21, 1953, in Manuel Benavides Chihuahua, Mexico to Pascual Galindo and Antonia Moreno Galindo. He was a bricklayer and a Christian Catholic.

He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Laura Laguna.

Maurilio is survived by his daughters Virginia Galindo of Beaumont, TX, Yesenia Galindo and husband Esteban Lopez of Midland, TX., Yesenia Talavera of Phoenix, AZ, and Annabell Benavidez of Ft Stockton, TX.; sons Maurilio Galindo Jr and wife Isabel Ruiz, and Daniel Galindo all of Midland; sisters Chuyita Tavarez, Angie Tavarez and Virginia Galindo all of Odessa; brothers Manuel Galindo of Odessa and Cecilio Galindo of Midland.

Maurilio also leaves to cherish his memory 13 grandchildren Jose Morales, Ismael Morales, Bryson Galindo, Julian Urias, Juan Samaniego, Andrew Samaniego, Nayeli Galindo, Abigail Galindo, Maritza Galindo, Thiago Galindo, Maurilio Galindo III, Alicia Galindo and Marlen Galindo.

Visitations are set for 10:00am to 8:00pm Monday, May 31, 20201 at Willowbrook Funeral Home Chapel, 1311 W. Florida Ave., Midland, Texas 79701. Facial Coverings and social distancing guidelines are requested upon entering the funeral home; Tuesday, June 1, 2021, from 9:00am-8:00pm with a rosary being said at 6pm at Willowbrook Funeral Home Chapel with the same guidelines applying.

Funeral Mass is set for 10:00am Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at San Miguel Arcangel Catholic Church, 1100 Camp St. Midland, Texas 79701, with Father Balachandra " Bala" Nagipogu officiating. Facial covering and social distancing is requested at the church.

Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens, 6800 S. TX 349, Midland, Texas 79706.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Galindo, Maurilio Galindo Jr., Esteban Lopez, Juan Samaniego, Andrew Samaniego, and honorary pallbearer Maurilio Galindo III.
