Mickaela (Mickey) Flores Navarro

Mickaela (Mickey) Flores Navarro, of Midland Texas, was called home by Our Savior Thursday, October 20, 2022. Mickaela was born September 29, 1930 in Paint Rock, Texas to Feliciana & Manuel Flores. Mickaela was raised in San Angelo, Texas where she met the love of her life Rumaldo Navarro & was married to him June 4, 1949. Mickaela was best known for her love for the Lord & her never waivering servant's heart. She was an active member of Iglesia Bautista Emanuel for 62 years. She loved children with all her heart, from helping in the church nursery, to youth counselor, Sunday school teacher & missionary on many mission trips. Mickey loved singing hymns, singing in the church choir, cooking/baking, & spending time with all her loved ones. Her last occupation was a custodian for the City of Midland & prior to that she devoted her time to private home care for many families. The best way to describe Mickey was through the word of the Lord, Proverbs 3:15-18 15 She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. 16 Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. 17 Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. 18 She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; those who hold her fast will be blessed.

She is survived by her son, Rumaldo (Ray) Navarro, Jr. and wife Margie of Midland; daughters, Lucy(Lulu) Navarro, Nancy Navarro Aguirre and husband Ronnie, and Cindy Megan Navarro, all of Midland, and Elizabeth Ann Navarro of Odessa, Texas; grandchildren, Sarah, Johnny, Michael Ray, Fabian, Kaela, and Alina; and by 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years Rumaldo Navarro; newborn daughter, Elizabeth Navarro; parents Feliciana & Manuel Flores; brother Jose Flores; sisters Virginia Navarro and Senovia Torres.

Viewing for Mickaela will be Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 5pm-9pm at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home. Celebration of Life service will begin at 7pm Thursday October 27, 2022. Funeral services will also be held there Friday, October 28, 2022 at 1pm. Services will be officiated by Reverend Martin Ortega. Burial to follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Fabian Aguirre, Ronnie Aguirre, Alex Castaneda, Elias Casarez, Eden Navarro, Michael Ray Navarro, Paul Torres, & Jeff Whitney.
