Paul Wayne Self, 61, passed away August 23, 2018. To his kids he was the strongest man in the world. He was the biggest, baddest, luckiest son-of-a-gun, with the softest heart. He lived his entire life in Midland, Texas and was known and loved by many. He is survived by his wife Heather; sons Casey and wife Jamie, Brandon and wife Amy and Andrew; daughters Shawnna and husband Glen and Allyssa; grandchildren Brandon Jr. "Little B", Brody and Hunter; siblings Sonny Self, Gene Self, William (wife Sylvia) Seymour, Pat Collet, Johnny (wife Cindy) Self, Sue (husband Jerry) Jobe, Jack Self, Joe Self, Mickey Self, Brenda Trevino, Jerry OZ Self; and MANY nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his parents John & Violet Self and siblings Joyce Whittington, "Chi Chi" Self and David Self. Family and friends are invited to the Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home & Chapel, 2508 N. Big Spring St. Midland, TX 79705 for viewing on Thursday August 30th from 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. with the family present between 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Friday August 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Lewallen-Garcia- Pipkin Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow. He will be escorted to Serenity Memorial Garden Cemetery by motorcycle procession. All riders welcome. Funeral service is under the direction of Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home and Chapel.
