Paul DeFoe Stuart

Paul DeFoe Stuart, 26 of Midland Texas, joined his Heavenly Father on May 29, 2017 doing what he loved the most, making money in the oil field. He was born on April 18, 1991 in Odessa, Texas. Paul was raised in the Truth. Although he strayed, he returned as the prodigal son did. He graduated from Midland High School with the Class of 2009. Paul enjoyed anything fast on two or four wheels. He liked hanging out with his friends, spending time with family, mini vacations, dressing to the hilt and "Looking Fresh". One of his many enjoyments was spoiling his little brother with dirt bikes and four wheelers and anything else he wanted. He was a true friend and inspiration to many, a go-getter at work and his motto was "Never Give Up". His Poppy was his rock. Paul could go to him and talk about anything and everything. They shared a bond that only a grandfather and grandson could share. Paul is preceded in death by his father, Craig DeFoe Stuart. He is survived by his mother, Liz McNeill; stepfather, Bill McNeill; his brother and best friend Larry Lujan. He also leaves his Poppy and Nana, Luis A. and Christina Ramirez; uncle, Luis Ramirez; uncle, Gabriel Ramirez and wife Pam Garcia; cousin, Luke Garcia-Ramirez; Mimi, Virginia Hamilton; uncle, Scott Stuart and wife Rinda and cousin, Rachel Stuart. He will also be missed by his siblings, Ashley Stuart, Larra Lujan, Michael Lujan, Brody McNeill, Bret McNeill, Aislinn McNeill and several aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be a visitation on Sunday, June 4, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ellis Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
