Rafaela Rios Miramontes, 72, of Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua, city of Mexico, passed away on July 31, 2023, in Midland. Rafaela was born in Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua to Julio Miramontes and Jacinta Rios on October 24, 1951.

Rafaela was preceded in death by her brother David Miramontes and her first husband Wayne James Weston.

She is survived by her partner Rosalio Saenz Ortega, daughter Mary Ann Ortega and her husband Manuel Ortega, son John C. Kinser and his wife Amanda Kinser, sister Elia Kennedy-husband Mickey Miller, sister Clara Palacios-husband Gregorio Palacios Sr., brother Julio Miramontes-wife Celia Miramontes, brother Saul Miramontes-wife Rosa Miramontes, Lucila Soria-husband Jose Soria, sister Graciela Mannering-husband Mark Mannering, sister Nancy Garcia-husband Guillermo Garcia, and mother Jacinta Rios Miramontes, grandchildren Josie A. Ortega, Bryon T. Ortega, Brandon Ortega, and Jasper Kinser, great-grandchildren Esae Nehemiah Ortega Villescas.

Pallbearers will be Rosalio Saenz, Manuel Ortega, Bryon Ortega, Brandon Ortega, Melvis Renteria and Cameron Harris.
Rosary will be held August 3, 2023, at 7pm at Willowbrook Funeral Home Chapel, 1311 W. Florida, Midland, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday, August 4, 2023, at Willowbrook Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
