Ralph Diaz, 60, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 23, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. We are consoled knowing he is in good hands now and very meaningful to the family that Ralph entered this world on his father's birthday, November 11, and went home on his mother's birthday, December 23. Ralph was born on November 11, 1956 in Midland, Texas to the late Martin and Victoria Diaz. He was raised and educated in Midland. He was an office installation supervisor for 20+ years. He was a long-time supporter of the Midland High Bulldogs and fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was an avid outdoorsman loving to hunt and fish with his sons. He was very dedicated to working with his brothers at the orchard in Proctor, Texas and the farm in New Waverly, Texas. He had a strong passion for helping others. Ralph also loved to spend time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He instilled his love and hard-working ethic that he was taught by his parents and carried it on to his children and grandchildren. He was always their number one supporter. He is survived by his wife, Sally Diaz of Midland; daughter, Elisa and husband Albert Montez of Midland; two sons, Michael and wife Kimberly Diaz and Marcus and wife Danyale Diaz, all of Midland; two stepsons, Cory Munoz of Midland and Ryan Munoz of Arlington, Texas; eight grandchildren who were his pride and joy, Larissa, Kayle, Talon, Jayden, Kenzie, Kailynn, Gavin, and Caleb; his sisters, Tina Moseley of Midland, Isabel and husband Freddie Rey of Granbury, Texas, Frances and husband Jose Gloria of Midland, Ramona and husband Joe Perales of Duncanville, Texas, Elva and husband Larry Siqueiros of Spring, Texas, Anna and husband Joey Aguirre of Midland, Juanita Diaz of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Terry and husband Garland Burge of Midland; his brothers, Martin and wife Paula Diaz of Duncanville, Tony Diaz of New Waverly, Texas, David and wife Melissa Diaz of Midland, and Jesse and wife Sandra Diaz of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and by an abundance of nieces, nephews, and dearest cousins from Mexico that have always supported our family. Pallbearers for the service will be Robert Leon, Ben Rey, Noel Lopez, Martin Diaz, Roy Ybarra, Lucas Burge, Ricardo Vejar, and Jesus Diaz, Jr. He will always be remembered for his infectious smile. A funeral mass celebrating his life will be Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, following with a graveside service at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
