Rodolfo "Rudy" Stone

Rodolfo “ Rudy” Acosta Stone, age 64, of Midland, TX went to be with the Lord, August 17, 2023. He was born July 16, 1959 to Daniel P. Stone and Lucia Acosta Stone in Midland, TX.

Rudy was a loving son, father, brother and grandfather. He enjoyed collecting baseball cards, M&M’s memorabilia, comic books, etc. He played and coached softball until he couldn't anymore. He was a fan of Yankees baseball, Raiders football, and the Little League World Series. You could find him having breakfast with his mother every morning or at the convenient store to get his scratch offs every afternoon.

He is proceeded in death by his father Daniel P. Stone and a sister Lily Stone.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter Teresa Martinez (Joey) of Midland, TX, sons, Rudy Stone (Shellie) of San Springs, OK, Luis Stone (Gina) of Bartolesville, OK, mother, Lucia A. Stone of Midland, TX, grandchildren; Julian, Meya, Madilyn, Rachel, Sebastian, and Alyssa, sister Sandra Stone of Midland, TX, brothers; Roland Stone of Midland, TX, Tony Stone of Midland, TX, Daniel Stone of Midland, TX and Mike Stone of Odessa, TX, step sister Hilda Rodriguez of Lockhart, TX as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

Receiving of friends will be held Wednesday August 23, 2023 from 12:00pm - 8:00pm with a rosary starting at 7:00pm at Avalos-Sanchez and Thomas Funeral Home, 1502 N. Lamesa Rd. Midland, TX 79701. Funeral service will be held Thursday August 24, 2023 at 9:00am at Avalos-Sanchez and Thomas Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
