Ruben Ramirez Sanchez, 87, passed away unexpectedly on June 5, 2026.
Ruben was a hardworking man whose dedication and perseverance defined his life. He took great pride in providing for his family and was respected for his strong work ethic, kindness, and generosity.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Angelita Nevarez-Sanchez; his five children, Ruben Ramirez (Mary), Abigail Soto (Maximo), Tony Ramirez (Christina), Harold Ramirez (Elizabeth), and Angie Ramirez (Alex); numerous grandchildren including Ruby, Ruben Jr, Jared, Jayden, R. Junior 111, Alex, Kimberly, Aleena, Julio, Biani, Anthony, Destiny, Lorenzo, Donovan, Haven, Daisha, Cruz, Evann; and many great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Catalina Ramirez-Sanchez, his siblings; Lalo Ramirez, and Trine Hernandez and his loving son-in-law Benny Llamas
Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure,
You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
God saw you growing weary, and did what he knows best,

Pallbearers will be Tony, Anthony, Harold, Haven, Cruz, and Maximo.
Visitation will begin on Monday, June 15th, 2026, from 1:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary service at 7:00pm and on Tuesday, June 16th, from 9:00am to 8:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm at Willowbrook Funeral Home, 1311 W. Florida Ave. in Midland, TX.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 17th, 2026, at San Miguel Arcángel Catholic Church, 1100 Camp St. in Midland, with Father Patrick Akpanobong officiating. Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 6800 S. State Hwy 349 in Midland.
