Salvador "Chapo" Gamboa Diaz

Salvador Gamboa Díaz, de 79 años, de Midland, TX, falleció el viernes 10 de enero de 2025 en Midland.

Salvador nació el 13 de septiembre de 1945 en Por Venir, Chihuahua, México, hijo de Ramón Gamboa y Amalia Díaz. Salvador será muy extrañado por aquellos que lo conocieron mejor.
Fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres; las hermanas Consuelo Gamboa y Guadalupe Gamboa; y un hermano, Antonio Gamboa.

A Salvador le sobreviven su hija Olga Gamboa; los hermanos Alberto Gamboa y Luis Gamboa; y la hermana María Elena Gamboa, junto con muchos familiares y amigos.

El velatorio y el velorio serán el domingo 19 de enero de 2025, de 1:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. con un rosario a partir de las 7:00 p.m. en Willowbrook Funeral Home, 1311 W. Florida Ave., Midland, TX.

Se llevará a cabo una misa fúnebre a las 11:00 a.m. el lunes 20 de enero de 2025 en la Iglesia Católica San Miguel Arcángel, 1100 Camp St., Midland, TX, oficiada por el Padre Patrick Akpanobong. El entierro se llevará a cabo en el cementerio Serenity Memorial Gardens, 6800 S. Hwy 349, Midland, TX.

Salvador Gamboa Diaz, 79, of Midland, TX passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025, in Midland.

Salvador was born on September 13, 1945, in Por Venir, Chihuahua, Mexico to Ramon Gamboa and Amalia Diaz. Salvador will be greatly missed by those that knew him best.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Consuelo Gamboa and Guadalupe Gamboa; and one brother Antonio Gamboa.

Salvador is survived by his daughter Olga Gamboa; brothers Alberto Gamboa and Luis Gamboa; and sister Maria Elena Gamboa, along with many extended family members and friends.

Viewing and visitation will be on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 1:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary starting at 7:00pm at Willowbrook Funeral Home, 1311 W. Florida Ave., Midland, TX.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Monday, January 20, 2025, at San Miguel Arcángel Catholic Church, 1100 Camp St., Midland, TX, with Father Patrick Akpanobong officiating. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 6800 S. Hwy 349, Midland, TX.
