Shaun Sanchez Obituary
Our beloved son Shaun Michael Sanchez, 33, was called home on Monday, September 10, 2018. Shaun was born August 21, 1985 to Melissa Ramos Rodriquez. He was raised by his grandparents, the late Mario Sanchez and Mary (Kello) Sanchez who he referred to as his mother.
Shaun graduated from Midland High where he met the love of his life Erica Montez and together they started their journey. They had two beautiful daughters Elizabeth and Sadie who were his life.
Shaun was employed for MudSmith's as the shop foreman. His passion was welding and fabricating anything you asked him to fabricate he would. He knew no stranger and loved to help people in need. Shaun was a kind and humble person. He was the peacemaker who always said, "Everything is going to be okay." He just enjoyed life to the fullest. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family, barbecuing, play his game consoles and watching his favorite football team, The Dallas Cowboys.
Shaun was preceded in death by his father, Mario Rene Sanchez; his great grandmother Angelita Espinoza; his great grandfather Albert Espinoza and by his special friend, Duke, who he referred to as his son.
He is survived by his mother, Mary (Kello) Sanchez; his mom Melissa Ramos Rodriquez; two daughters, Elizabeth Nevaeh Sanchez and Sadie Mia Sanchez; and by the love of his life, Erica Montez all of Midland.
Shaun is also survived by his two sisters, Alexis Johnson and husband Denny of New Port News, Virginia and Amber Lopez and husband Ricky of Midland; one brother, Albert (Jaime) Rodriquez of Midland and one uncle, Michael (Slacks) Hernandez also of Midland; numerous nephews and nieces.
Viewing will be Saturday, Sept. 15th from 10:00am - 9:00pm and Sunday Sept. 16th from 10:00am - 9:00pm with a rosary starting at 7:00pm Sunday evening all at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral mass is set for Monday, Sept. 17th at 1:00pm at St. Ann's Catholic Church with Monsignor Larry Droll officiating. Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers for the service will be Michael Hernandez, Michael Velasco, Jonathan DeLeon, David DeLeon, Joseph DeLeon, Javier Mercado, Marvin Ramos, Cody Ridenour and John Leyva. Honorary pallbearers are Albert (Jaime) Rodriquez, Ricky Lopez and Simon Johnson.
