Socorro Hemilia Ramos Sotelo

Hermila passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family on Saturday November 24, 2018 at her residence. She was born to the late Julio and Trinidad Ramos in Ojinaga, Chihuahua Mexico on July 19, 1949. Hermila was a homemaker all her life. She loved spending time with her loving daughters, grandchildren and extended family. She enjoyed music, dancing, cooking, knitting, and sewing. Hermila will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carlos Sotelo, infant son Mateo Sotelo and by her brother, Baldomero Ramos. Hermila is survived by her two daughters, Paula Sotelo Espinoza and Sonia Sotelo Nieto both of Midland; three grandchildren, Julian Espinoza of Midland, Jazzmin Espinoza of San Antonio and Melena Vitela of Midland; and by one great grandchild, Noah Duran of Midland. She is also survived by her siblings; sister, Guillermina Rodriguez of Midland; and three brothers, Francisco (Pancho) Ramos and Juan Ramos both of Midland and Carlos Ramos of Odessa. Viewing will be Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. at Heavenly Gate Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral mass has been set for Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish & Shrine. Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
