Suzette Jackson

Suzette Jackson, age 69, of Midland, TX is at peace with her Lord and Savior after leaving for her Heavenly Home, May 9, 2026. She was born in Longview, TX to the late Ruby Jewel Stevens Jackson and Herbert Lee Jackson on November 29, 1956.

Suzette was a very special woman. She was selfless, outgoing, and never met a stranger. Her home was always open to anyone in need. She was nuturing, strong, independent, and outspoken. Everyone in the community loved her and called her Auntie. She wore many hats over the years; she was a teachers aide for a while, housekeeper, a representative at Texas Instrument, but she was a caregiver most of her life.
Overall she was a wonderful mother, grandmother and best friend.

She was greeted in a Heavenly Reunion with her parents, Ruby and Herbert Jackson, her twin sister Suzanne Spencer, sister, Brenda Jackson, brother; Herbert Jackson, mother-in-law Sherly Kennedy, and great-grandchild Delorean Lewis-Robinson.

Suzette leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Melisha Ania Ramirez and husband Valente Ramirez Jr. of Mansfield, TX, sons; Johnny Ray Robinson and wife Shrina Green of Midland,TX, Todd Jerome Jackson and wives Crystal Bryant and Nicole Bedford of Midland, TX, King James Robinson of Midland,TX, extended children; Ja’Rae Robinson of Midland,TX, Kenneth Ray Brown of Midland, TX, sisters; Gwen Dale, Beverly Jackson, Rosalind Spears, Charlotte Jackson, Trina Jackson, Lydia Bills, 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends. Those who were left out on paper are never left out of heart.

A visitation for Ms. Jackson will take place Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Avalos-Sanchez and Thomas Funeral Home Chapel, 1502 N. Lamesa Rd. Midland, TX 79701 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 18, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Goodwill Baptist Church 1001 S. Main St. Midland, TX 79701. Interment will immediately follow at Serenity Memorial Garden Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of Avalos-Sanchez and Thomas Funeral Home, 1502 N. Lamesa Rd., Midland, TX.
