Ysidra Franco Valdez

Ysidra Franco Valdez, age 75, peacefully went to be with our Lord on Saturday July 10, 2021. She was born and raised in Midland, Texas. Ysidra spent the majority of her years as a homemaker, an especially a loving wife and mother. She married the love of her life, Gonzalo H Valdez and together they had eight children. Ysidra was a fountain of love to everyone who surrounded her. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was a strong woman of faith with a great devotion to her Lord and Savior. Her hobbies included Bingo, and she loved to cook her famous homemade biscuits and pancakes for her grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending quality time with her loved ones. Ysidra was the definition of God's love.
Ysidra is survived by her daughter Oralia Franco, her son Carlos Valdez and wife Lilli Valdez, her daughter Cecilia Valdez and husband Miguel Gardea, and her daughter Marisela Chavez and husband Hector Chavez and numerus grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ysidra is preceded in death by her parents Santos and Consuelo Franco, her husband Gonzalo Valdez and four children Gonzalo Jr, Silvia, Patricia, and Mary Elenn. and two grandsons Zack Galindo and Reynaldo Valdez and two granddaughters Vannesa Franco and Janet Lee Moreno. Honorary Pallbearers are Juan Carlos Valdez, Bonnie Gutierrez, Juan Rodriguez, and Alex Rodriguez and pallbearers are Luis Rodriguez, Fernando Rodriguez, Daniel Carrasco and Christian Carrasco.
The viewings for Ysidra F Valdez will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home, 2508 N. Big Spring St. Midland Tx. 79705. The Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at 10 a.m. at San Miguel Arcangel Catholic Church, 1100 Camp St, Midland, TX 79701. The Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery 6800 SH-349, Midland, TX.
